Here is a bit of my previous illustrative work…

However, drawing and comics have always been my first love…

My Zine: “HELL-thy

This is the what actually inspired my Thesis. It’s based on my own real personal struggles with trying to live ‘healthily‘ in today’s society. However, this led to my imagery being rather sombre and melancholic – I decided to combat this with dark humour and fantasy. It lightened the mood, and put an interesting spin on the narrative. I already used comedy to cope with my own daily struggles – thus it was only natural for me to incorporate it into my art.

“Kids Can Be Cruel

This is a project I did of a children’s book based on DC Batman characters growing up as young monsters. It stars Bruce Wayne (Batman) as the child of a vampire, and his ironic fear of bats. It also features a young Selina Kyle (Catwoman) as a witch, accompanied by her mischievous black cat, as well as a young Joker being the worst monster of all – a human.
